If the original purpose of the escalators was to interlock both levels, to make it easy to change the levels, the Polemoskop connects the levels as a simple optical mechanism, without changing its position. It adds a surprising moment to the perception of the users of the space, is intuitively comprehensible and thus addresses unfiltered to all users of the space.
